Learning From The Holdfast Bay Community

As part of the Kibby Reserve Community Garden Master Plan, WAX Design collaborated with the City of Holdfast Bay to undertake a consultation process with the local community to assist in creating a brief and scope for the project. The consultation was held during August with the goal to ascertain community preference in regards to potential opportunities to be incorporated into the concept design. With all community members welcomed, the session was aimed at collating information through an interactive process and encouraging community to thoughtfully consider their top priorities for the garden.
The consultation approach focused on engaging with the local community early in the process, with the strong intent of building ownership in the project.  WAX will present an initial concept back to the community for further feedback before finalising the masterplan.
