Highbury Masterplan and Community Consultation

As part of the Highbury Viaduct Masterplan, Stage one works are now complete! Fences have been dismantled and the reserve is open to the community. The site is now at a lower fire risk, while the new signage and overall accessibility show the transformation is in full swing.

Stage 1 of the project was officially launched by, Tom Kenyon, local MP who has been supporting the residents in prioritizing this project over recent years.

WAX Design working in conjunction with URPS and DEWNR, has also recently held a community consultation to review the initial masterplan. Overall, we received positive and constructive feedback with attendances over 60 people, including local residents, councilors and elected members. The goal was to gain a community understanding and opinions of current works and current design stages. Masterplan is now being developed in response to community feedback before finalizing the masterplan.
