WAX features in Sanctuary Magazine for a
sustainable garden design which responds to the architecture of the client’s original
1880s cottage and the new extension by Troppo Architects. The use of recycled
and local sourced natural materials throughout the garden, left to weather,
share a similar language to the architecture creating a unity between the indoors
and outdoors. The lawn is watered with rainwater along with the mix of drought
tolerant natives and the productive garden. Several trees are located to
provide shading to the house in summer.
